A special commission for Aunt Nella’s friend, whose dog is an agility champion. He is jumping over the moon here with the Bay of Fundy below, commemorating where these ladies met years ago. The owners signs (Sagittarius and Capricorn) are in the sky along with the golden moon.
Making one-of-a-kind pieces of art that pack so much meaning into them can be really nerve wracking, but in the end there is a deep sense of satisfaction and gratitude. What is created is a story that speaks directly to the heart of the owner and the gift giver. As an artist, getting to be part of these stories is a great honor.
